ISI Inspection
Springmead School had its most recent full Independent School's Inspectorate (ISI) inspection in February 2023. This comprised both a Compliance and Education Quality Inspection where the inspectors spent three days completing their assessment of the school. We are proud to say that Springmead was awarded a double Excellent across all areas of the school and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision, for both the quality of pupils’ academic achievements and pupils’ personal development. We passed our ISI Compliance Inspection with flying colours.
During the three-day visit, the school was assessed against 450 Primary School standards and more than 70 EYFS standards in 8 different categories. The key findings from the report are as follows:
"The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent.
- Pupils make excellent progress and achieve well.
- Pupils are highly engaged, ambitious learners.
- Pupils are articulate and confident communicators.
- Pupils have well-developed information, communication and technology skills (ICT) and a developing understanding of different applications across the curriculum."
"The quality of the pupils’ personal development is excellent.
- Pupils' social development is excellent and supported by the extremely positive relationships shown between staff and pupils.
- Pupils are highly inclusive and respectful, readily celebrating each other's successes.
- Pupils have a strong spiritual awareness and a deep appreciation for the world around them.
- Pupils make a significant contribution to their school community and are supportive of environmental initiatives."
