Art Flourishes at Springmead
A superb new Art block is Springmead's newest and most notable development, and coupled with some art competition victories, has put this valuable subject in the limelight recently.
The art department at Springmead has been gathering momentum over the last few years, with specialist teachers, inset training and our invitational clubs. This has allowed some of our best pupil artists to have time together, inspiring each other, learning skills and honing techniques, all under the watchful guidance of passionate teacher artists. The results have been fabulous, with wins in local and national competitions, including the Devizes Eisteddfod and the Independent Schools Association (ISA) art competition.
Our forthcoming art exhibition this summer will be a fabulous celebration of our whole community’s passion for creative arts, which has been continued through the building of our exciting art studio. The Springmead community has been overjoyed to have a brand-new, dedicated specialist space for pupils' artistic talents to flourish!
