Pupil Leadership Opportunities

School Council

Springmead School Council is made up of children from Years 1 to 6 and supports children to develop their voice by expressing their views on matters that affect them.  Children are elected onto the School Council by their fellow pupils, and each pupil enjoys the opportunity to play a vital role in addressing topics and issues within the school community.

From Reception, pupils enjoy the opportunity to become Digital Leaders, and from Year 3, they can join the Eco Committee. 

The Springmead Award

In Year 5 and 6 we have a specific leadership programme as part of the Springmead Award.  Children are expected to complete leadership elements

In Year 6, pupils are selected to become Springmead Ambassadors, a role that they take immense pride in!
